Spirit was asked to support the launch and expansion of the Bristol office by making the property industry aware of Savills’ expertise, knowledge and range of high profile projects in the area.

Savills - case studyWe introduced the Savills’ team to key local business and news media, and national property press, using their high profile projects in the region to demonstrate their credibility. Using Savills’ nationally-regarded research, we placed Bristol-specific stories in the press as well as substantial issue-led features. We also delivered coverage on national and local TV and radio, and in national press such as The Times, Guardian and Country Life.

Spirit promoted the practice using a mix of features, news stories and journalist meetings and, following the success of our work in Bristol, we were taken on to support the Cardiff team in 2009, shortly after they also opened a new office in the city.

In 2009, we generated a ten-fold return on investment with 80 articles published and in the first six months of 2010 alone, we generated 56 articles, ranging from news stories to opinion pieces and features. Both offices have become firmly established in their local markets.
